Here is a photo of Blainie wearing slippers whilst under the ocean on a train. She refers to them as ‘tunnel slippers’ when most others would refer to them as toilet slippers.
Leaving for Tokyo today. Three trains ahead of us. We had the very first seat on the first train, which meant we could see out the front. Check out the snow on the track!

This is where we are staying. It would normally be a 3 minute walk to the festival – but with the icy conditions, you better maker that seven.
We didn’t think we could do it – what with their being so many other awesome food choices – but we got 100 points on Blainie’s point card. We traded them in straight away on the Pingu bag Blainie has had her eye on since the start of the trip.
This is the closing night of the festival – and these are the final jumps by the snowboarders. We had mainly seen them doing solo jumps, but this last set of jumps they did a whole synchronised thing. It was totally awesome.
