Nearing the end of our dinner, we were told Oni were coming to the hotel as part of a festival associated with cleansing and new year. We could here the drumming as we were catching the lift to the lobby. This photo best sums up the feeling of the spectacle. You kind of had to be there.

Hurray! This snow is so soft and powdery you can’t even make a snowball. It’s like it is nothing at all.
